Sometimes I forget neurotypical people don't constantly review the social interactions they have, so it's always a a surprise when I'm doing training and it says:
"Hey to minimize unconscious bias you should think about how you're interacting in a situation!"
@tevruden I think the more difficult thing is when you /think/ the conversation is over and then realize as you are six feet away that it was only a pause while they reviewed something on their computer screen and you are STUCK there trying to decide whether you should go back and apologize or stick to your guns and take up a new life as a forestry ranger and become one with the moss.
THEN the thought process is like:
• Am I doing this enough?
• Should I do it *more*?
• Wait... people don't normally have anxiety, Tev.
